I'm kind of waiting for the HD version to become BC on Xbox One, and play it on there instead. Porting the HD version to the current gen consoles, takes extra work, which is not worth the effort. The only major difference between the original, that it runs at a higher resolution. So i'm not even suprised the game runs at 30 fps. I mean they did re-released RE4 on the PS4 at 60 fps, so why the hell didn't they coded Veronica at 60 fps as well? It's really sad because i was really looking forward to play Code Veronica at 60 fps. I can have the exact same results on the PCSX2 (30 fps, PS2 graphics) with 100% fidelity. No reason for me to get this if it comes to Steam. La versión Platinum incluye varias mejoras respecto a la versión original de PlayStation. También fue lanzada en Europa y Japón una versión para PC, pero sin el título Platinum.
I mean, there is absolutely no reason for this. Resident Evil 2: Platinum es una versión mejorada del Resident Evil 2 original y que fue lanzada el 28 de febrero de 1999 exclusivamente para PC en Norteamérica. It's a 1:1 direct port from the PS2 version at high resolution, instead of the PS3/X360 HD version with dynamic lighting and shadows, and it is still locked at 30 fps on the PS4
